it was the 8th of march. 18 year sevens and a bunch of teachers where on a blackbird rivercruise listening to the steady drone of the ban in the chair. smeling the feint but disgusting , odour of the river and tasting the orange tang of a piece of gum given out by a couple of dodgy back allyway dealers handing out a supply of chewy and lollypops. the rumble of the motor filled their ears as the taste of exhast fumes filled their mouth. for about an hour they sat like this, alking, texting and taking pictures of trees and buildings along the way. then they had to go home...
